So if you are familiar with how anything is basically baked, you know how our crushed fava beans are made. We just simply crush the dried fava beans into a flour, make a dough and bake it. Easy as that!
And by now you’ve learned Finnish – boom! Härkis is a synonym for crushed fava beans.

We are here to admit it. We just love our beans – in the fields and crushed in our meals. Now it’s out there – no need to hide this any longer.
Our company Verso Food was founded already in 2010, and in 2016 our first crushed fava bean products were launched. Since then, our crushed fava beans – called Härkis – has been the no. 1 sold plant protein in Finland.
